My approach is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, with attention to how unconscious processes, early relationships, and past experiences continue to influence the way we experience ourselves and others in the present. I’m interested in the patterns that repeat, the emotions that feel hard to place, and the meanings that emerge within the therapeutic relationship itself.
Alongside this, I draw on attachment theory and mindfulness-based perspectives to support a steady, attuned way of working. This creates a reflective and grounded space where thoughts, feelings, and bodily awareness can be explored with care. Through this process, increased awareness can gradually support integration, emotional resilience, and a deeper sense of wholeness.

Therapy can be helpful if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, low, or simply wanting to understand yourself better. You don’t need to be in crisis or have a specific diagnosis to benefit from therapy. If something is affecting your mood, relationships, work, or overall well-being—or if you keep thinking, “I shouldn’t feel this way”—therapy may be a supportive space to explore that. Many people also come to therapy for personal growth, stress management, or life transitions.

A therapy session is a confidential conversation focused on you. In the first session, your therapist will ask questions to understand what’s bringing you in and what you hope to get from therapy. From there, sessions typically involve talking about your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and patterns, while your therapist helps you gain insight, develop coping skills, and work toward your goals. There’s no “right” way to do therapy—you set the pace, and sessions are collaborative rather than judgmental or scripted.

The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, needs, and circumstances. Some people attend therapy for a few months to work through a specific issue, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper or ongoing support. Sessions are most commonly held weekly for 50 minutes, though biweekly or other schedules can also work. I will regularly check in with you to make sure the frequency and duration feel helpful.
